Why We Like The Quandary Pant

The Patagonia Women's Quandary Pants will take everything from sport climbing to peak bagging in stride. The light and stretchy fabric makes the Quandary comfortable enough for mountain wear, while the DWR treatment repels light moisture, so you'll stay relatively comfortable should Mother Nature bestow you with an unexpected storm. The gusseted crotch and articulated knees increase overall mobility, so you'll be able to pull through the crux and scramble up boulder-strewn ridges with ease.

Love the pants but this size too short

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer
Size Bought:
2
Height:
5' 9"
Weight:
136

I am 5’9” 136 lbs and have these in black and grey, size 4. I wear them all the time - every day wear, golf, hiking etc. they wear like iron and wash well. I lost a bit of weight and thought size 2 would be a better fit. They are but are too short. I will stick with the 4s. (I wish the thigh pocket was deeper for a better iphone fit)

Wonderful Travel Pants

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Size Bought:
14
Height:
5' 5"
Weight:
180

I bought two pairs of these and wore them all over Ireland on our trip last June. They were super comfortable, did not look wrinkled, rolling up the bottoms allowed a little air on the warmer days and keeping them unrolled worked great on the rainy cold days. The length was perfect. They were not too tight but not huge. I have a 14 but probably could use a 12.

These are comfy, stylish, durable pants but they large. I'm usually a size 8, regular but ended up returning these for a size 6 and even these were a bit long.

Button tabs irritate skin

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it
Size Bought:
6 Short
Height:
5' 4"
Weight:
130

These pants fit me okay but the button tabs for rolling up the pant legs rubbed my legs and irritated my skin. If you plan to wear a base layer under these pants or keep them rolled up it wouldn't be a big deal, but I wanted a pair of summer hiking pants. Also, the zippers jingle when you move around (built in bear bells?).
