Beautiful shirt, but fit is oversized

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it
Size Bought:
Small
Height:
5' 3"
Weight:
125

This is listed as a "regular" fit but I found the size small to be quite oversized. I'm a small 90% of the time in Patagonia tops. I'm ordering an XS to see if it is a little better. The Small is oversized in a way that makes it hard to wear with baggy or wide-leg pants or tucked into high-waisted pants, but it looks great with shorts or something that's slimmer on the bottom. Admittedly, I will probably use it more for teaching, work in the sun, hiking and gravel biking, than for it's intended use as a fishing shirt... I was hesitant about the color, but it's a beautiful set of warm tones in person. Lastly, while there is a slight touch of stretch, the shirt is not as stretchy as I imagined based on the title and it doesn't seem necessary given the oversized cut.
