Comfortable and effective

I purchased these in preparation for a 325 mile ride on the GAP and C&O trails during a season that can be rainy and cold. When they arrived, the waist and hips fit perfectly, but I was concerned that they looked quite baggy through the legs. As it turns out, the fit was perfect, since it gave me room to move without binding me anywhere or exerting pressure on my knees. They survived wind, rain and mud - and kept me very warm down to 40 degrees. I am very pleased! I did take note of the reviewers who recommended sizing up. I’m almost always a size 2, but sized up to a 4. It was the right choice. Size 2 would have been too snug, especially with biking shorts underneath.
