    Best hiking pants!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 4 / Tall
    • Height: 5'9"
    • Weight: 135lbs

Love these! They are SO comfortable. The length is great (I'm tall, so it's always a plus when they have a tall option). The color is true to the image. I wore them in Iceland hiking and they kept me warm and dry! Size 4 fit perfectly. Little extra room on the waist, which I prefer over being too tight.

    Need more!!

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought these for my daughter to go hiking and to do her research in. Comfy fit! Does seem to run a little large. She 5'4, 120. Bought a size 2

From the lady: these are by far my favorite outdoor pants for both durability and functionality. I have climbed a lot of sharp limestone in these and have yet to really tear them (that's usually my gauge for durability in outdoor pants....I can't tell you how many I have put holes in....but not these!). I have three pairs of them in different colors. They def run big though, so size down when ordering.

i love these pants. great fit, very comfortable, nice little bit of stretch which was great for hiking, but the best part is they hold up nicely and maintained their shape, so if went out after hiking you still look put together!

    versatile pants

    they are the best

Girlfriend got a pair of these and loves them. She used them all spring while working as an outdoor therapy guide. The material has just enough stretch and is light weight but still durable. No surprise these are the best selling hiking pants that we carry.

    Can't Beat Em!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Bought these for my girlfriend and they are her favorite pants now. They're comfy, fit great, and don't whistle while you walk. Just like the Prana Zions for men, these pants are mobile enough for climbing and hiking, trendy enough for wearing in public, and comfortable enough for just lounging around.

    Never take them off

If I could, I would ware these pants every day! I have 3 pairs. The first was a regular length and I have to really shack them out when I wash them to get enough length to pass as long enough. The next 2 pairs I purchased the long size and shortened them. I'm 5'8 1/2"

    Great Outdoor Pants!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I love love these pants! Love them so much I ordered 4 pairs!! (although I had to return two for sizing/pocket issues). Use them for climbing and hiking. I like the side zip pocket on the leg (which puts the contents more towards the front of your thigh) I put my phone in there when climbing and it seems to be a decent location for it - if it were more off to the side, I'd be leary to if I had to jam my knee or thigh into places climbing. The green pair of pants has a super small zip pocket that does not fit a phone (I have an iphone 5), so I returned those. The moonrock, raisin, and dusk blue colors all have the larger size zip pocket. The dusk blue color felt slightly baggier in fit (ordered all the same size) so I returned those as well. Moonrock and Raisin were the best fitting colors for me. I am 5'8" 118 lbs, and wear a 0 Tall in these pants (and I still have to tie the waist cord, but the fit is pretty good). They are a bit long, but I like the rolled up/cuffed look anyway :) Besides, the regular length is too short. More colors please!

    comfortable and durable

this is my second pair- absolutely love them. I use them for hiking and even golf. this time I purchased the 2 short (I am 5'3.5" and 110 lbs.) and they are perfect! My first pair was a 2 reg, which is bigger, and need a belt and had them hemmed up.

Love these pants so much I have three!

I bought a pair of these back in March for a hiking trip to Utah because they were on sale. I was so obsessed with them that I said whenever they go on sale again I will buy more. I have them in burgundy and just recently got them while on sale in black and olive green. I’m an ecologist so I work outside in the field a lot and I need clothes that will hold up to my day to day life. These pants are super comfy, they dry quick when they get wet, and are a lightweight material so they don’t make me hot. The only thing I can complain about is the sizing. I typically wear a size 12, but I had to go up in size to a 14 when I got my first pair. After much use of the side zip pocket (which is perfect for keeping your phone handy for picture taking!), some of the stitching was starting to unravel, so I had to resow it and I know this happened because when my phone would be in the pocket, the pant would be a tad tighter, pulling on the stitching. This time around I decided to go up one more size to a 16, just so that they would be a bit baggy on me. Having a pair of pants in that number scares the crap out of me, but I know that it's just a number and it's also just because of the style of pant and I'm OKAY with it! Comfort overrules a number!

      Yes!

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

It's always great when women provide size intel. It's so hard to figure out if a pair of pants are going to fit. I will say, the Halle is a-mazing. The mid rise fits like a mid rise. The 31" inseam fits my 31" leg perfectly. The hips are fitted, yet comfortable. I bought a 6 based on the Prana size chart. I knew I'd be on the snugger end of the relaxed fit, but the fit is exactly how I like it. I measured my waist where the top of the pant waist sits (34")--about 1-1.5" below my belly button. My hips at the fullest part of my butt is 38". The pants also have some give. I definitely would not go down to a 4. And if I wanted them to be more relaxed in the hip, I think it would work out fine to go up to an 8.

These Pants Made Me Like Pants

I am not someone who wears jeans or most pants in general. My logic was that I don't like to be limited in any way. If someone were to start playing tag spontaneously I would feel restricted in jeans and thus ill prepared. I thought athletic leggings were my only way to go...until these pants.

These are mobile, breathable, comfortable and look great. I plan on purchasing every color and never needing pants again (fingers crossed). I wear these to work and gone straight to rock climbing afterwards and just really dig them.

Like most prAna products the fit is a little different. I normally wear a 3 and sometimes a 4 but I'm a 2 in these. They are adjustable though, so fit great. Also there are a plethora of pocket options, which is rather uncommon with women's pants.

All in all these are rad pants and a purchase to make anyone pleased.

      I absolutely love these pants

The quality of this pant is great. They are my best hiking pants. I also love the fact that you can fold the bottom and turn it into shorts.
These pants are light weight, and very breathable.

      New FAVORITE Pants

      • Fit: Runs large
      • Size Bought: 4
      • Height: 5'7"
      • Weight: 140lbs

I LOVE these pants! (can I rate them 10 out of 5 stars!?!) They are the perfect cut, perfect length and so comfortable! I love the flap back pockets, very flattering. I've already bought a second pair and will be shopping for another now! They do run a bit large, I would recommend sizing down for everyone. I ordered a 6 and returned for a 4, and with the relaxed fit I still have plenty of room to move around. Best. Pants. Ever.

My new "go to" travel pants

When planning a trip to Scotland, I tried many different pants and Pranas were/are my favorite. They are lightweight, take up little room in luggage, water resistant and stain resistant (both of these guarantees were tested and proven....remember do NOT use fabric softener to retain these guarantees for the life of the garment). These are now my

      BEST PANTS

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Size Bought: 2 REG
      • Height: 5'4"
      • Weight: 118lbs

I bought these for a trip to Colorado, but it so happens that I also needed a new pair of khaki pants to wear for work. I'm moving and going a lot in my job so comfort and durability is the #1 priority for me. These pants deliver, their comfortable, and stylish and they don't make me feel like i'm overheating when its hot out. Will buy more when the time comes!

      Love em!

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
      • Fit: True to size

Bought these for casual and hiking trips so far; for being outdoors in Alaska they were a great versatile pant for hanging around the campsite to getting dirty to going to the Saturday market. I am 5' 6", 130LB, athletic build and bought a small to later return it for a XS. The pocket on the thigh was perfect for stashing money, chap stick, and other little things that I didn't want to lose in a crowd. They have a very nice look almost classy for town and the material is a little bit of a lighter but perfect for the temperatures I used them for (80's to low 60's).

      Love These!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: 16 regular
      • Height: 5'7"

Easy to clean, durable and figure flattering. These pants definitely make it hard to want to wear anything else. They have survived kid spills, mom spills, hikes, water fights, dogs, horses, mystery toddler spills and long car rides. Will definitely be buying more colors! Fast drying and still make me look like I have my ducks in a row.

      Unanswered Question

What model year are these pants, or, do the pictures show the exact model year being sold? I ask because I have a pair from 2ish years ago (most easily descernible by the smaller right thigh pocket) and the pants fit MUCH better than the updated model. I’ve been looking all over for any of the older stock left. Is this it?!

      Unanswered Question

Are these pants close to low rise? In the pictures it looks like they are.

      Unanswered Question

How long is the inseam in a 12 long? And do these truly run big or are they just a baggy fit? My concern is if I size down would they be too tight in the waistband. I'm fit but I'm apple shaped so waistbands are my problem in women's clothing since they tend to be cut smaller in the waist. Any advice on if I should really Size down? For those that did size down, did it make the pant fitted?

Is size 0 only available in Tall? How does the sizing & fit compare to the Kara jean?

      Hey Chelsea,

The fit of the halle is more relaxed compared to the kara. The kara is also a little more vanity sized (runs one size smaller) so I would think that the Halle runs true to size and more relaxed.

      Thanks!

      Kaley
