Why We Like The Saucony Guide 17 Running Shoe
Stable and highly cushioned, the Saucony Guide 17 Running Shoe provides comfort and support for our runs, walks, and everyday life. The engineered synthetic mesh keeps things light on our feet while Saucony's proprietary PWRRUN foam weighs in lighter than conventional EVA foam with plenty of bounce and cushy comfort. The Guide also adds a stability platform to support overpronators and help us run safely and comfortably. The new Guide 17 includes several updates, including a wider base, higher sidewalls, and lower 6mm drop.

Best shoe ever
I have been a Saucony shoe customer for over 25 years and the Guide 17 is by far the best running shoe I have ever worn! My feet are flat and have bunions, so comfort is key. This shoe delivers on comfort and support.

Miles Made Easy
I bought these a few weeks ago and they are great! Each time I run 3.1 miles and these sneakers are perfect. They give me the proper stability and comfort I need to reach my running goals.

So comfortable
Best shoes ever! Great support and so comfortable! Felt like my feet were inside foam clouds! I actually bought an extra pair after wearing the first ones for two weeks. You can’t go wrong with these. Hope this exact style continues.

soles are too big and clunky
Don't get me wrong, these are probably great shoes for the right person. I need stability and good cushioning but these soles are just too big. I will likely trip over the bulk of the soles and I need to be able to feel my feet on the ground. Some of these "cushioning" brands are so thick they still feel like bricks to me. The colors of this style are great but I just need a more streamlined, flexible, less bulky running shoe.

Very comfortable
These shows are very comfortable and all I usually wear is Hoka. I can wear them all day with no issues at all.

Hoka in disguise
I have been a Saucony for years. This is the worst shoe I have ever put on my foot. There is no side support at all. It gaps like your foot is in a bag. Even looks gapped before you put it on. Limping home from my walk now

Terrible redesign for Guide 16
I tried the Guide 17s today; I'm disappointed. The redesign no longer makes it a Guide, rather it is now a Hoka. I never wanted a Hoka. I could feel a pain in my foot from walking in it. I'm a runner, and I have tried every shoe and I no longer have any options. I have a very slight pronation in my right foot but not enough for a orthotic. Please go back to the design of the Guide 16, or even better the Guide 15s as the support was just right for my feet. Make the Guide 17s a different shoe because it has changed significantly.

New Guide 17 version is terrible
I have been a guide wearer for many years. Never any complaints. This guide 17 purchases was terrible. When wearing them for only a few days I had knee discomfort . Even worse was the off balance feel. I felt like I was leaning backwards. At times it almost felt like I would fall backwards. I called and explained this and was told I could not return them. I told them I wanted to just replace them with a guide 16 pair. Was turned down. I will not be a saucony customer again.
