The hiking was very light. More like a trail runner. I thought the quality of the stitching on the tongue was fair. Not sure if it hold hold up for an entire year. The big reason I couldn’t keep the shoe was the size. It was too small. It was the largest women size they make. I believe a EU 41. I am an American 10.5 size. So I had to return them!

I had a very frustrating experience trying to buy these boots. I tried size 41 at a local store, it was a bit small. So I ordered size 42 from Backcountry, it was a full inch bigger. So I ordered size 41,5. Size 41,5 happens to be smaller than size 41. I ended up returning it. I wish the store could provide actual measurements for shoos, not just sizes. The boots look really good, lightweight, and made well.
