Great way to travel with fishing gear.
Great rod and reel vault. Lots of room to carry multiple rods, reels and stuff. Very happy with purchase.

Simms Travel Vault
Great for travel, I put 4 salt water rods in the case; 3-9' and 1 10' all 4pc rods. Room for reels, flies and other accessories. Used as one of my carry on bags; no issues and easy to use. The handle for carrying could stand to be a lite larger, back pack straps I didn't use but could see their value in a different application.Over all its a 10 OUT OF 10.

Awesome Travel Case
My wife got me this for Christmas. No more rod tubes on the plane is amazing. Loads of storage for rods, reels, fly boxes, etc. absolutely love the back pack feature.

GTS Rod and Reel Vault
I love the rod vault. It holds enough rods to cover my trout fishing in the west. I have a bad habit of breaking down the rods and not putting them back in their rod case. The rod vault will be a better option for me and would have pervented a broken rod in the back of the truck.

Well made.
It is made beautifully and tough. 5 stars. Only issue for me, not most people, is a 5” reel is a squeeze to fit it in. Distorts the whole thing. But it fits!!!

Solid package for 5 salt rods, but shoulder straps should be removable
Solid case that supports 5 salt rods, and the fit is a little too tight for large arbour reels, such as an Abel SDS 11/12 or Danielsson L5W, but it just fits. The shoulder straps does represent a risk, as they cannot be removed, if you have to check in your rod, like in Japan, Mexico, Chile, Argentina.

Very well constructed
Very well constructed - you can tell this will hold up during travels. So nice to be able to condense multiple rods and reels without needing tubes, etc. We bought this for a trip to Belize and are happy to have the peace of mind that comes with carrying our rods/reels with us.

“Vault” is right!
Super solid construction, plenty of room and many useful details. The padded shoulder straps make it very comfortable to carry. I have total confidence that my fishing gear is safe, and it lets me devote my suitcase to clothing.
