Great jacket, wore through a busy guide season here in Alaska and it held up. Fits well, true to size, great cut. One con, the sleeves at the wrist worked too well. It was very difficult to take this jacket off once sleeves are wet, this was challenging when trying to go to the restroom.

I have tried several different rain jackets while guiding in the raw Alaskan wilderness. This jacket definetly shines a million times brighter than all of the competition. I actually wore a different jacket out guiding today, to test out a new jacket from a Simms competitor, I was soaked to the bone when I was done with 9 hours in the pouring rain and 30 mph winds all day. I definetly missed my Simms jacket that was back at camp. I will never wear another jacket while guiding.

Great jacket for staying dry.

A great rain jacket that keeps me extremely dry. The only thing is I wish it came in a darker color like the men's jacket. Not all womens fishing gear needs to be blue or purple.

W's G3 Guide Fishing Jacket is my traveling jacket

You can wear it as a raincoat, and the food is adjustable. The sleeves are long, adding extra protection from heavy wind and sun lights. The color suits fishing, especially nymph fishing, protecting the rod hand. There are 5 pockets for iPhone, sunglasses, and an extra close. The total space is enormous, yet the appearance is very smart looking. It is very lightweight. It suits me for traveling, too.

Would highly recommend the Simms G3 guide Jacket. Super impressed with how comfortable, warm and dry. This jacket makes long days on the water, casting and reeling in bass that much better.

Same as above

I like the way the cuffs fit around the wrist and don’t let water in. I would recommend it.

Solid rain coat.

the fit is boxy compared to a traditional jackets. I can see how that could be nice for going over waders but not exactly ideal for an everyday jacket. Might be nice to mention it fits a little differently than a traditional jacket in the description of the jacket. Otherwise great jacket.

A versatile coat built for versatile anglers

A women’s coat with the same technology as the guys that is built for us. I appreciate a color that is not the pale blue or pink as with most women’s gear. This coat was built for anglers to fish in all weather. There is plenty of room to layer. I can’t wait to use it for steelhead this fall and spring.
