Alaska black bear hunt
When in Alaska I was slipping on the moss on the rocks and the guide was not. I noticed later in the hunt he had the studs in his boots and was getting around a lot easier. So now I have them :). I haven’t tried them myself but have seem in action.

Good Studs
No complaints. They screwed in snugly with a 1/4" driver. Haven't fallen out or worn down after a few days use. Helped with traction on all-rubber soles, probably be evern better with felt.

A Great Addition to a Wading Boot.
I fly fish on the rivers in the southeast. There is always mossy rocks that we are walking on and after slipping and falling several times I purchased the HardBite Wading Boot Studs for my wading boots. I have not fallen since. I feel much more stable because I am not slipping at all. They are easy to install.

Safer now
After fishing for a season without them, for safety I acquired 20 of these studs. Online I saw patterns of installation and with my cordless drill and the 1/4” socket, I had these done in 5-10 min. Out on the water, walking on stream rocks was clearly safer and I did not need to use my collapsible walking staff to feel secure.

Don’t wade without them
Made a huge difference in traction on algae-covered rocks, etc.

Very Disappointed
Fitted these to my G3 Guide Vibram Boots, also used Aquaseal. They provide little extra grip as the do not protrude from the sole of the boot. And no, I did not over tighten them! The "welded carbide gripper pellets designed to enhance traction and durability" would work if they had not had an argument with the rest of the stud and stayed welded in place after 5 uses. See photo. Overall, IMHO they are a complete waste of money and Aquaseal - very disappointed. Bryan - from South Wales UK.

Must have for flyweight wading boots
A must have for my flyweight wading boots. Definitely gives me more bite. Low profile makes them easy to hike in as well. If properly installed they're in for keeps.

Your stud/cleat game is extremely suspect. You know it we know it. Clean it up simms.

Awesome for slippery mossy riverbeds
These in the soles of your wader boots Allows you to focus on the fishing not on swimming while fishing!

More info
Received studs, I am going to place on my tributary boots. I wish that the studs also came with a boot diagram for placement .Also the description states Vibram ,doesn't mention Rubber for Tributary wading boots.
