Not for shorter people
I wouldn't bother with these unless you are close to 6ft or taller. I'm 5'8 with a 32 inch waist. Most size medium sweatpants will fit me without hemming. The waist fit perfectly, however the length of these pants were way too long. They look hilariously baggy on me to the point that they are ugly and impractical. It's a bummer, these pants have so much potential, but unless they come out with a short length version they won't ever be an option for me. They seem great if you are on the taller side though!

Warm, comfy and breathable

First time getting merino wool as pants and it's definitely a game changer. Very comfortable and warm. The quality seems top notch as well. I'm 5'6", 135lbs and 28 waist. Size small fits but a little bit on the loose end but I'm on the lean, athletic side so no fault to smartwool.

Warm Pants

These are great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these for an overlayer when I workout. I start my leg days with them on and they keep my legs nice and warm until I'm ready to free them. Overall, great pants that are flexible. Super comfortable to just wear around the house as well. They are warm due to the lining material.

Great pants, would buy again

A keeper
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wear these to to gym (outside freezing ) and wear while doing an hour workout. I just have to remove hat and jacket, exercise and back to car and home. Stretch enough and warm enough. All works.
