The colors do it for me; mint green, chartreuse, hot pink & orange - love!

Love these but they do take some getting use to. The first couple of times they bruised my ankle. I may have tied them too tight. But my foot was very comfortable. I love that there’s a little lift in them. I’m a shorty. I need all the help I can get.

GET new shoe laces!!!! I had to stop several times on my walk to tie and double knot laces!

I have bruises around the inside of my ankles because of the hard shell.

Even with high socks, the shoe rubbed raw on my ankle even after a pretty short hike! Super painful only after 2 miles. Now I cant return them because I've worn them in.

Pretty colors functional and cozy

I love them they’re just what I wanted. The lacing up and untying are a little inconvenient but it’s because they’re such durable shoes.

Super stylish, if a bit tight

Love the colors on these shoes! And the shape of the design is awesome, I feel so cool whenever I wear these. I got them to my size so they’re a bit snug with regular socks on. If you wanna wear thick socks with these I’d go half a size up.

Bought these shoes at the last minute for a hiking trip to Utah and they were perfect for me. Very comfortable even before being broken in. Gave me good traction on moderate trails and kept my feet plenty warm enough with wool socks. Go a full size up!

I wanted these to work sooooo badly. I loved the style and was looking for something different. I’m usually 8.5/9 and don’t have particularly wide feet (or at least have never had an issue before). I bought a 9 and they felt so weirdly tight even in thinner socks. Sized up to 9.5 and my toes still felt like they were on top of each other. Thankfully for Backcountry’s incredible customer service I’m able to exchange for another boot.

Perfect shoe for recovering from ankle fracture

I bought these shoes for two reasons; 1) They are really cute 2) I am weening myself off of a moon boot from a broken ankle and I thought the heal structure would be perfect for the transition, and they are. I was able to get the broken foot into the shoe for the first time this morning, because my foot was swollen. The heal is perfect and I feel between the high top and the large/soft comfort of the heal it is a double bonus. I am walking for the first time without a limp, oh. . . and did I mention they are very cool looking shoes?
