Feels like a solid upgrade!

I used to have a first-gen Stoic puffy hoody jacket, which held up well over the years but was starting to show its age. I saw a great deal on this new version and had to pounce, and it feels like the fit and finish has improved a lot! Materials seem durable, zippers are smooth and sturdy, and best of all, it's warm!

Great product if you are looking for alternatives to more expensive down jackets, it's a bit thicker but you can still pack it if you want, used it on a recent trip to NY and was able to stay comfortable in 40 degree weather with wind chill.

Amazing Value with solid quality

Fist off im 6'3" 215lbs, 44" chest with an average build (slight belly). I bought my usual XXL size with the intention of wearing it over a light sweatshirt or fleece pullover and it will fill this role perfectly. Without layering it still fits my clothing style of slightly big without looking sloppy so if you are looking for a well fitted form. My biggest struggle in buying jackets is getting something that isn't restricting my arms/shoulders range of motion all while not tenting out in the stomach area and this achieves it fairly nicely. Oh and if I had 1 nitpick I would of liked at least 1 internal pocket to store my cellphone but other than that im super happy with the purchase.
