Perfect minus velcro pockets

These are stretchy and roomy but still nice looking. I have climbed in these with a harness. Definitely high rise. The back pockets are closed by extremely sticky velcro which makes actually using the pockets difficult. I found some velcro to attach from the inside so they are normal pockets now. Would be better with snap buttons or zippers. Lovely colors and cool belts!

GEEZ louise, I love these. I was totally impulse swayed by the dual-toned blue/green with pink belt pair during a sale and I'm so glad I went for them. Like many others, I often have a hard time with pants where if they fit the leg they don't fit the booty, if they fit the booty they don't fit the waist, if they fit everywhere they aren't long enough, etc. Especially with outdoor industry brands. Not with these pants! They are genuinely high waisted, they fit around the wide of my hips but taper nicely around the leg, and go all the way to my ankles. I love the adjustable belt, and the zing of color is so cute. The fabric is surprisingly soft but feels durable. And it has give to it! I can move any which way completely comfortably. I probably won't wear these on backcountry trips since they are cotton but for daytrips and general wear--WOW. Can't sing enough praises. The next time there is a sale, I will be grabbing more...probably several. Sizing: Usually I am 6/Medium but purchased these in a small after seeing that recommendation from other reviews, and the S fits perfect. I might could fit into an XS but it'd be a tight fit, maybe uncomfortable/with less accommodation for big movement. I'd say size down because the S already has a looser drape; I think my usual M might cross the threshold from attractively oversized into a little too big. Overall: Wonderful pant! Get them! (Size down) My only wishes for improvement would be: Easier adjustment of belt sizing (I have to undo the belt and use both hands to make an adjustment, although this might get easier with more wear on the belt) and a non-velcro closure for the back pockets, it's already snagged some things I've put in my pockets.

These pants look great and are comfortable. The belt is a little annoying and bulges out in the back, though.

These pants are so much fun!! The only downfall is that I wish that both side of the belt were printed as it seems to defeat the purpose when most of the belt fabric needs to be tightened so you can’t see the print. Everything else is a dream - I wish I could buy all of the colors! I’m 5’6”, 160lbs and have an athletic build. I roll up the bottoms twice and love how it looks with my chacos or tevas!

too long in the rise, too fussy

5'6" and 135 pounds; looking for hard-wearing gardening pants. These are too long in the rise and about 2" too short at the ankle, and fit "clingy." Also, they are over-engineered with a zipper / button AND a build in snap-closure belt. I just want something I can yank on and go.

I wear a size 4 in the utility pants and these fit slightly tighter in the legs but overall pretty similar. Unfortunately there was just so much fabric along the hips and the front pockets that made me look wider than I am. Love the style but not for my body type.

I absolutely love these pants. I want them in every color, but I wait until they’re on steep & cheap. My dream pant is these with a double front and thigh pockets/tool loops. The material is soft and comfortable but durable. I love the integrated belt. I gave 4 stars only because the men’s version has a crotch gusset and for some reason these don’t.

Pretty great pants! I've used them for hiking, climbing, and for everyday pants. They are very versatile. They have a great stretch, and aren't too tight, and run more on the larger side of things but overall, very happy with them. Will definitely be purchasing more colors.
