WP Walking Shoes for a Great Britain Adventure
I searched for Waterproof shoe/boots to walk around cities of Great Britain and then future travel plans. These looked a good choice but so far have just been breaking them in. The inside footbed feels a bit stiff -- not cushioned like foam bedded lifestyle shoes -- but of course that might be most desirable as I spend hours on uneven, old, stone pavements. The soles are very grippy, even on wet, smooth surfaces. The tread is not super aggressive like a true trail shoe/boot should be -- and this is what I wanted for more urban walking. I appreciate the "rock" as my foot rotates from heel to toe: allows a comfortable walking gait. The tongue design does not allow water to wash up around to the top of the shoe and drain into the inside -- a major plus for Ireland puddles. I normally wear a size 12 in Teva products and this sizing did not disappoint; the toe box is roomy enough to allow wearing mid-weight socks. I am very optimistic and will pack them for the trip. If all goes well on this first trip wearing them, I hope to return to this review and increase the rating to five (5) stars.

Good Shoe
Comfortable shoe, but run wide. I weak a medium weight hiking sock with them and still really have to cinch up the laces very tightly. My feet still move around considerably in the shoes.
