Thoughtful Design

If you are a Setter working long hours, this shoe will be right up your alley! It wears like a street shoe and the sole of the forefoot curves us slightly (making it more geared towards being active/multi-us as opposed to a stiff and flat climbing rubber front) I appreciate the comfort that comes with that, though that is the one aspect that could be improved. I believe the rubber used could be slightly more rigid and sticky at the toe. This would allow setters to do more climbing moves in these shoes (with a more accurate feel) without having to switch shoes. The colors are eye-catching and a conversation piece. The leather on the suede is nice and durable, the added rubber for toe hookiing and heel hooking is a thoughtful and needed touch, and the velcro strap is brilliant in taking the fit from 'casual-feeling' to being more snug for climbing moves. There's even a thoughtful little note from Tonde inside the box and additional pink laces.~ Fit: The sizing fits true to size. (I wear 9 for an aggresive hiking shoe and this fits the same) The shoe is maybe slightly narrow at the ball of the foot, if you have wider feet like mine.

I have been enjoying my pair of these shoes a lot so far. The major complaint I heard was that the sizing was tight, but like a climbing shoe, that's entirely the point. This shoe was specifically designed for people who are setting routes in a gym or doing similar work. They are supposed to fit tight and be as close to a climbing shoe as a sneaker can get, and they are right on the money here. Im a 10.5 and these fit snuggly without feeling overly constrictive. Comfortable and stylish enough to wear out after work. No complaints on these bad boys so far
