The last technical snow / rain jacket I'll ever need
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best snowboarding jacket I've ever owned with room to accommodate hydration, iPhone, and other items helpful for a day riding in the trees. Fits perfect.

Great jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great functionality & great aesthetic. Ran to size for me. The price is a little high for the overall quality & value in my opinion. If your intended purpose is exactly what it's made for then I highly recommend.

Bring Back Gore Tex Pro
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had GoreTex Pro Summit Series for filming in Korea during the Winter Olympics with no problems on record breaking cold. Return cuz inside seals came off. Future flight feels like fighting for warmth.

I would buy this product for myself, or recommend to anyone
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Outstanding jacket. Bombproof layer for the gnarliest weather. Extremely functional without zippers everywhere. Love it.

Great Alpine Jacket (with a few small things to improve)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a new shell for Ski Touring and I really wanted to try out a Futurelight jacket, so I purchased this jacket last year. My initial impression was that the jacket has a great, soft feel to it. It was also very waterproof when I tested it under the tap. I am glad I got a Medium. I am 5'10" 185lbs and the jacket fits really well, although I would consider that it should be labeled as a Large as it seems to fit more like a slim large. Just size down if you are between sizes. Out in the field the jacket is very nice. Windproofness is great, waterproofness is also great. The soft fabric compresses and packs well. The zippers are all very good quality and operate smoothly. I only have two gripes: *This jacket, like many Summit Series offerings, does not have a hang loop inside so I have to hang it from the hood to dry. I do not understand why the Summit Series equipment lacks hanging loops. *Even though the breathability of this fabric is amazing, it is still not enough without vents. The chest pockets could easily have been mesh lined to make them act as both pockets AND vents. That being said, if you open the pockets you do get a little tiny bit better ventilation in the jacket. Or at least I perceive it to be the case. Bottom line, this is a very good shell jacket for winter adventures in a variety of climates. Futurelight fabric is awesome, and seems to be everything TNF is toting it to be, but some performance details still need to be ironed out.

Beautiful Jacket - Sizing is perfect
- Size Bought:
- Large
- Height:
- 5' 7"
- Weight:
- 180
I am very particular about my clothes fitting perfectly. I am a large in Ralph Lauren, Canada goose, Patagonia and Perfect Moment sweaters and jackets. I ordered this jacket in a medium because of the other hags review stating it was fit super big. It fits true to size and now they’re sold out of large in black so I need to get my second color choice, blue. Not the end of the world but lady don’t write bogus reviews with incorrect sizing info.
