Now running with a 3-layer GORE-TEX Pro shell, this ultralight, breathable, and—most importantly—waterproof jacket provides unbeatable coverage in deep and heavy snow without weighing us down on the ascent. The North Face equipped this shell with an articulated fit integral to skiing and riding, and the seamless shoulders keep us comfortable while hiking the track with a pack on our back. Underarm vents let air flow freely on particularly active climbs, but when we need to lock out the weather, a powder skirt, hook-and-loops cuffs, and a drawcord-adjustable hem seal us up tight.

as a high-end ski jacket, it has a mini snow skirt which is useless,compared to traditional snow skirt.
