This is my second black Muse dress (and my third Muse dress total- I also have the long-sleeve version in Olive). I wore my first one until the fabric was see-through, which is not to say that the fabric is flimsy! I wore it for years and years of hikes, dinners, and some warmer workdays, all the way through a 42-week pregnancy. It's been my go-to travel dress all along because it can go from the beach to a dinner to a family party and even be used as a nightgown when traveling. The neckline is a bit sexy, and if it were any lower it wouldn't work with most of my bras/tanks. The cut is sporty enough that it looks fine with the edge of a nicer sports bra peeking out. I find that sinching the side cord hides a bit of a well-earned belly. My first Muse was a small, medium fits better now that I'm over 40 and a Mama.
