Needs redesign

I have had 3 pairs of these shoes ( older models) and was hoping to replace them with this one. BUT, this shoe design does not fit well. The design of the tongue ( w/ unnecessary extra fabric fold) creates a bulky pressure on foot, in addition to other fit / material issues. I've been searching for a replacement to no avail, and I'm overall disappointed. Designers please look at previous designs & material specs. thanks!

Bad blister

I have purchased Vasque shoes for 4 pairs in a row(over 10 years). The model I usually buy is no longer available. So I went with these. I tried them over winter break and I felt a little hotspot on my right heel. I tried to continue to break in before I was going to do a big, planned hike. I tried changing sock (thicker, thinner, everything in between). I wore them on a big hike and got a horrible blister that took over 3 weeks to fully heal. I have no idea how this works..was it the shoe or something else? I do know that I have never, ever had a blister. It happen on my right heal. Not sure if I buy a whole new pair.
