Why We Like The weBoost Drive Reach Overland

Because we like to find the most remote places to call home for a while, we have our rig equipped with the weBoost Drive Reach Overland. As we leave civilization behind, we watch our signal bars stay steady thanks to the signal-amplifying antenna mounted to our roof rack. The antenna's collapsible design folds down when we're rolling under low-hanging branches or pulling back into our garage at home, while the military-standard build holds strong against our rugged adventures.

Best investment

I haven’t had it very long yet but it does work very well I work in the oilfield so about 95% of the time I am off roading this definitely keeps my signal boosted although there are some spots it just cannot get anything but really for the majority of it all it’s doing it’s just

Don't know yet, I'll be driving around the perimeter of the country in a month or so and that should be a good test.

Good product- some drawback

I like this and it definitely helps. Although, I still have locations where I have no signal. In all fairness, I do live in the mountains and I assume that's the issue.

This Thing is Awesome!!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I've had it installed for a few months now and notice significantly better coverage in my truck. In places I have struggled with getting text in and out before I now have more bars and can actually send messages. Install was straightforward, and the antenna mount that folds down is a game changer. My passenger princess particularly enjoys the greater coverage.

Great Boost in coverage

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I have used this in rural UT, WY, CO, and ID this summer with great results. I was caravaning with a few other cars and I would have coverage and was able to get texts in/out when no one else even had any coverage whatsoever. Understanding its limitations is important to manage expectations. It still requires cell service and it increases the strength of what it receives, but if you are entirely out of coverage then you will not get service at all. On one test I was getting -112 dBm before turning it on, after turning it on it jumped up to -89 dBm. Installation was straightforward and the antenna mount that lets you fold down or raise it up is great to get the antenna as high as possible, but also lets it be stored away to reduce the height or when it is not needed. The signal range inside my vehicle is great the repeater is inside my can towards the back and reaches the driver seat just fine, even with a wall in the way. I pair it with Starlink, so when coverage gets really spotty the Starlink goes up and I turn this off. But in the in-between space between they city and really remote areas this is a great help.
