SB140 CLR C2 GX Eagle 29in Mountain Bike

Ask anyone here and they’ll tell you that lunch rides are pretty darn popular. The new Yeti SB140 LR, or Lunch Ride, is more than just an SB140 with a longer fork. Boasting 140mm of Switch Infinity rear travel for a supportive pedaling platform and exceptional traction in both directions as the bike moves through its travel. The C/Series carbon layup is dependable, lightweight, and reworked by Yeti’s engineers to provide a better combination of torsional stability and flexibility. They took the redesign one step further and completely designed the geometry around 29-inch wheels with size-specific chainstays and seat tube angles for a consistent ride feel across the entire size range. A slack 65-degree headtube angle is paired to a 160mm travel fork for precision handling in technical sections while still being able to take big hits along the way.

The new SB140 Lunch Ride C2 GX Eagle kit builds off of the 12-speed SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain for highly reliable shifting in virtually any weather condition. A wide range 10-52t cassette guarantees we can find a gear to keep our pedals spinning when the climb gets steep, and a pair of SRAM Code R brakes gives us precision speed modulation through gnarly terrain. The Fox Performance 36 fork offers 160mm of tech-hungry travel and easy-to-adjust settings so we can dial in our suspension setup without ending up with a headache. 29-inch Crank Brothers Synthesis Enduro wheels are built to stand up to big hits and are independently tuned with a compliant front wheel for maximum grip and a burly rear wheel for high-speed stability, helping keep us dialed on our line no matter how chunky it gets. Every size features a long OneUp dropper so we’re not worried about snagging our shorts while sending big lines, and a dual-density downtube protector for fending off frame-busting hits. The Yeti SB140 CLR C2 GX Eagle 29in Mountain Bike has us looking at the trail a bit differently now since we’ve gotten our hands on it, and we're finding all sorts of features to pop off.
